.   The Official Grumpy Cat  - 8,702,635 likes

Grumpy Cat became an internet sensation after her photo was posted on Reddit on September 22, 2012. It was suggested that the original photo was photoshopped, so we posted a few videos on YouTube. The videos went viral and her popularity has continued to increase! We aren’t exactly sure about Grumpy Cats breed; but she looks nothing like her mother or father. She looks similar to a Ragdoll or Showshoe; but there have never been any of that breed around the house. Her mom is a calico domestic short hair cat and her father has grey and white stripes.

2.   Lil Bub - 2,895,186 likes
BUB is a very special one of a kind critter. More specifically, she is the most amazing cat on the planet. In July of 2011, she was discovered as the runt of a healthy feral litter in a tool shed in rural Indiana at only a few weeks old. She was taken in as a rescue when it was clear that she would require special care. Since then BUB has become one of the most famous cats on planet. She is a published author, a talk show host, the star of an award winning documentary, created Lil BUB's Big FUND for the ASPCA (the first national fund for special needs pets), and has helped raise over $300,000 for animals in need.

3.   Waffles the Cat 2,471,206 likes
Waffles is a Scottish Fold boy. When he was a kitten, people said he was ugly and he had trouble finding a home. All the other kittens found homes except him and he was left behind alone. He waited and waited, but no one ever wanted him. So many people said he was ugly or weird  or sick, that after a while, he also started to believe it.

4.   Nala_cat 2,290,725 likes
The story of one kitten, Nala, starts off at a home where the owners could no longer take care of the cats and kittens because there were too many. Nala was then taken away to the shelter where she was separated from her original family. Sadly we don’t know what happened to the rest of the cats or kittens, but when adopted, Nala was the only one left. Of course Nala wasn’t Nala then, but an unknown kitten in the shelter, at only five to six months old. On a random day, my friend and I were planning on adopting a cat, but weren’t going to right away because we weren’t prepared. After looking around for a while, my friend found another cat that she wanted to adopt, and I had just picked Nala up for the first time. She licked my face and knew she was the one that we were going to take home.

5.   Venus the Two Face Cat 1,321,876 likes
Venus's owners Christina and Chris got her from a dairy farm in North Carolina in 2009, where she was a stray.
They fell in love with her at first sight because she looked like a mixture of their other two cats, an orange tabby and a black tuxedo.
They brought Venus to the home they share with their three children in Florida, and were astonished that the line down her face was so distinct.
Even her whiskers were white on one side and black on the other.
Christina and Chris, who declined to give their surnames, have said that people have accused them of dying Venus’ fur - but the reality is that their pet was ‘born this way’.
